Ruth Lilly Finalist For those of you who know what a Ruth Lilly Fellowship means in the world of letters, you already know how hard it is to wrap my mind around this one. Here's a description from the Poetry Foundation website: Five Ruth Lilly Poetry Fellowships in the amount of $15,000 will be awarded to young poets through a national competition sponsored by the Poetry Foundation, publisher of Poetry. Established in 1989 by the Indianapolis philanthropist Ruth Lilly, the fellowships are intended to encourage the further study and writing of poetry. Read more about the prize here and check out the poem that was nominated here. The God Engine TurnsHey, fam. Many of you know my chapbook "The God Engine" was accepted for publication by Pudding House Press last fall.
